- Downloaded PSPRT-Handler v1.50 (by Daniel Weber) a while ago from Aminet.
- It does a good job printing PostScript graphics on my Epson LQ-1500
- printer. I'm using the EpsonX printer driver in "Printer" preferences.
- I'm also using the 68020 version of post.library, as distributed in HWGPOST
- beta 7 (by Heinz Wrobel).
-
- Problems I have run into are that it ignores the first few lines and does
- not quite get the page length right. The psprttest.ps document, for
- instance, only prints the lowest 1/5th of the first triangle that appears
- in the upper left hand corner. The second triangle in the bottom right
- corner finishes on the second page.
-
- I have tried using the unforce and fit options on the psprt: device, I
- have modified psprt.prefs using 'Usepreferences' and 'Pagedots' and
- 'Aspect' in various combinations, and I have adjusted "PrinterGfx"
- preferences with Absolute, Bounded and Pixels as limits with various
- numbers for width and height. The only thing that seems to affect the
- output is the unforce and fit options for the psprt: device. Is there
- anything in the "PrinterPS" preferences that is supposed to be modified?
- I also tried modifying page length in lines on "Printer" preferences.
-
- So far, this has been a useful and interesting program, but I would like
- to correct these minor problems. I also tried an Epson LQ-500 printer
- with the EpsonQ driver with approximately the same results, although the
- page length seemed better.
-
- Any suggestions are appreciated.
